As an organisation they are committed to furthering the cause of Chess in the Northern regions of England .

Northern Counties Chess Union Seniors

South Shields have fielded a team in the Northern Counties Chess Union Seniiors competition and recently progressed to the final . They are now due to play Heywood in early July . We wish them the best of luck .
